Dear Members,
Our nation has been suffering an unprecedented crisis with the recent COVID-19 pandemic that has affected our way of life as it has never been affected before. Life as we knew it seems to have been suspended in an eerie twilight zone. Thankfully, our members and their families, in their majority, have not been affected by the terrible and often fatal contamination and other negative impacts as a result of it.
As the new president, I am very humbled by the trust you are placing in me and in the new Board of Managers. We count on your support, and that of our loyal club friends and NJSFWC’s sister communities to carry forward our mission to continue with the work still to be done to fully restore our historic clubhouse, as well as to continue to challenge ourselves with innovative ideas, events, fundraisers and other social activities to promote togetherness, friendship and mutual cooperation and collaboration with other organizations. Our stewardship responsibilities will drive us to continue to fulfill our commitment to support our clubhouse, its members and our greater community.
Our normal world was taken away from us suddenly, but we are determined to take it back one day at a time with our resolve and God’s help. As the saying goes “You don’t know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice”. We are a group of strong women and will become stronger as we go forward working together as one amazing team to achieve our goals during these challenging times.
