The Woman's Club of Rutherford (WCR) is a non-profit volunteer organization, working toward helping the Community, all done with a spirit of friendship. We are comprised of women ages 18 and older.
Our members have the opportunity to gather every Monday at our clubouse at
201 Fairview Avenue (corner of Montross Avenue) in Rutherford, NJ.
- The first Monday of the month is a Program/Presentation. We begin with refreshments and then have a speaker or activity.
- The third Monday of the month is our Business/Board meeting. We discuss upcoming fundraisers, projects, financials, etc.
- The remaining Mondays are Social/Project Nights. Members plan and work on upcoming fundraisers and/or play games, enjoy a Book Cub, work on a craft, etc.

The New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs, the largest volunteer women's service organization in the state and a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, provides opportunities for education, leadership training, and community service through participation in local clubs, enabling members to make a difference in the lives of others, one project at a time.
The goal of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs is to enhance the quality of life within our respective communities and state by transforming public interests and concerns into meaningful projects and programs; to afford our members opportunities for the development of individual skills, talents and abilities; and to serve as a grass roots volunteer resource in New Jersey communities.

The General Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations, was founded in 1890 and chartered by the 56th United States Congress in 1901.
